Ola Cabs leave commuters high & dry; drivers refuse services randomly

It has been found that the app-based taxi service provider Ola Cabs are leaving commuters at the mercy of its unruly drivers who deny to provide services during odd hours.

Customers often complain against the app-based taxi service providers for their poor services. To address this issue, a team of Millennium Post investigated the matter and found that the Ola Cab drivers misbehave and deny services randomly.

On Saturday late night, a Millennium Post team booked an Ola taxi from Mayur Vihar Phase II to Sikandarpur Metro station (Gurgaon). The team received a confirmation message but a few minutes later it was cancelled.

“Sorry your Ola share booking has been cancelled as driver was unable to serve you this time,” the message read.

Such requests were made to Ola twice and they were turned down.

The third time, when the booking was done, it showed eight minutes waiting time. After a call was made to the driver, he simply refused the service.

When asked why did he send a confirmation before, he simply refused to talk on this issue and asked the team to hire another cab, which forced to the team to cancel the booking.

Meanwhile, Ola Cabs said it would look into the matter and take appropriate action. “We give top priorities to our valuable customers. We have zero tolerance against such acts. Our team is looking at it right now. Let us assure you, we will do everything necessary to get this addressed at the earliest,” said Ola Cabs in a reply to Millennium Post’s queries regarding the matter.
