Now, learn about doctor availability, check-up dates in Hindu Rao hospital through SMS

Now, what you need to do is just send an SMS to know availability of any doctor in Hindu Rao Hospital. The hospital is going to launch a service on Wednesday in which one can acquire all the required details like days on which doctors are available along with disease experts and the like on the mobile.
‘Entire information about the availability of the doctors and disease experts can be availed by guided SMS system. Besides it will be made public on the website of the hospital,’ said Y S Maan, director (Press and Information) of North DMC. He further informed initially the SMS facility is being launched for selected departments like burn unit, emergency, malaria, dengue and would soon be extended to all the other departments.
The information would include availability of services, duty days, timings, location of the doctor (chamber), OPD day, etc.
Hindu Rao Hospital affiliated to Hindu Rao Medical College of North DMC is the only medical college in the city run by corporation. The medical college was recently in controversy as Medical Council of India found it sub-standard and issued notice following which corporation rushed to fulfill the mandatory requirements as the new session was approved. The first session of the medical college
was started in 2013-14 academic session.
