Now, Dalits can email complaints

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) top brass has accused the Samajwadi Party (SP) government in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh of encouraging ‘gunda raj’ and encroachment. Referring to the recent Mathura violence, party chief Amit Shah has announced a campaign to check encroachment in
the state.

Eyeing Dalit voters, Shah talked about this campaign in Kasganj, the birth place of Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) founder and veteran Dalit leader Kashiram. He said Dalits were victimised.
“We will advertise an email ID from Wednesday itself. and whoever complains we will take up their case,” he added.

The email ID will be operated by the Lucknow party office. The respective local in-charges of the BJP will be provided with the requisite data in respective constituencies. They will take up the issues to the authorities concerned and build pressure on them for returning these lands to their actual owners, a senior BJP leader told Millennium Post.

Meanwhile, the BJP president blamed the relatives of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for their alleged proximity with the kingpin of the Mathura violence, Ram Vriksh Yadav. He alleged that this proximity helped Ram Vriksh Yadav encroach 270 acre area in Mathura’s Jawahar Bagh for over the past
two years.
