Now, book a cab or an auto from your smart phone. A private app developer NGT Technologies has launched a mobile-based application ‘AutonCab’ which will now allow passengers to book a cab or an auto with few simple taps on their smart phone.
‘Passengers do not need to wait any more by the roadside and negotiate fares with drivers. A few simple taps will get them the service quickly and easily,’ says Alok Sawhney, co-founder of the application.
The app can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store or App Store for iPhone. The passengers’ pick-up location will be detected automatically and the nearest driver will reach there within minutes of the request. To be a part of the AutonCab ecosystem, the passenger and driver simply need to register with the service.
