Notorious criminal of Satte gang held for murder and other crimes

Delhi Police arrested a notorious criminal of the Satyaprakash, alias Satte, gang infamous for opening fire at police and also involved in a murder case in Nand Nagri in the Krishna Nagar area of East Delhi. The accused has been identified as Deepak (28). Amit, other criminal is still absconding. The Special Cell recently arrested Satte for murder of Sonu, alias Chikna, in Nand Nagri area. Police recovered one pistol, 11 cartridges and the motorcycle from the possession of the arrested person.

According to the police, on December 25, two policemen on patrolling duty received a tip-off from an informer that two armed bike-borne men are roaming around in the Krishna Nagar area and at the same time, they spotted the duo coming from a the side of a building. When they were asked to stop, the two tried to escape towards Ghondli Chowk. Police continued the chase while the duo opened fire at them. After some time, the policemen overpowered Deepak while the other identified as Amit managed to flee from the spot by robbing a man of his scooty at gun-point.
