Noted historian returns Padma Shri in protest

Noted historian from Uttarakhand Shekhar Pathak on Monday announced to return his Padma Shri in protest against what they call the “atmosphere of growing intolerance” in the country. He is the second personality from the state to return his award after writer Nayantara Sehgal.
