Northern Railways launches Vigilance Week

Northern Railway launched its week-long Vigilance Awareness programme on Monday. In consonance with the principles of corruption-free services, officers and staff of Northern Railway undertook integrity pledge. V.K. Gupta, General Manager, Northern Railway administered the oath of integrity on the occasion. M. Jamshed, Sr. Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer of Northern Railway and other Senior Railway Officers were present at the inaugural programme held at Northern Railway Headquarters Office, Baroda House, New Delhi. A number of programmes including nukkad natak are slated to be held during the week. Northern Railway will also be held a workshop on ‘Transparency In Public Procurement’ on Monday at Conference hall of Baroda House. Northern Railway has been undertaking system improvements to bring in transparency in all official dealings.
