Northern Railway (Delhi) celebrates Van Mahotsav

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav celebration in Rail Eco Park at Chanakyapuri, VK Gupta, general manager, Northern Railway expressed his desire that divisional team of officers should organise such tree plantations more often.
This should be done especially in Railway Staff colonies by involving the participation of the residents of colony representatives, recognized unions and associations to create an eco-friendly environment. By planting saplings & and contributing towards the upkeep of the parks, green belts & cleanliness for creating clean & green environment for better living conditions within the vicinity in and around by adopting the colonies & parks.
Delhi division of Northern Railway organised Van Mahotsav in Punjabi Bagh Railway Colony, Delhi. A number of officers, staff & their families participated in planting sapling of different varieties on this occasion On this occasion AK Sachan divisional railway manger, Delhi, also planted a sapling.
