North tops dengue cases’ list

North Delhi Muncipal Corporation [NDMC] is facing a surge in dengue cases this season, as the number of dengue cases from its areas has become the highest among the three municipal corporations in the city. A maximum of the season, 33 suspected cases of dengue were reported from Delhi on Sunday. According to data released by nodal centre for dengue and malaria on Sunday, among the 33 fresh suspected cases, 13 each are from NDMC and SDMC areas, and seven from EDMC. Among the 202 cases of dengue confirmed so far, only three are from neighbouing states and 192 are from the areas of the three civic bodies in Delhi.
