Noida police to watch borders

The Noida police have beefed up security at the borders of Delhi and Noida ahead of the assembly polls in the national capital on Wednesday. There are seven points in the city that join the city with Delhi.

A senior police official told Millennium Post that police teams would be deployed at the seven points including Kalindi Kunj, New Ashok Nagar, Sector 14A and DND to keep a check on the intercommunication services to avoid any untoward incident, misuse of money, liquor or musclemen to influence voters in the city.

Noida would also observe ‘dry day’ on Wednesday as the district magistrate has ordered the owners of liquor outlets to close their shops during the Delhi elections.
