Noida Police rescue city bizman from captors

Noida Police on Thursday rescued a city-based businessman who had been kidnapped from Bulandshahr on Tuesday.
The police have also arrested three kidnappers and have recovered an amount of Rs two lakh paid by victim’s family in ransom along with an Alto car of the businessman and two other vehicles used by the criminals during abduction.
According to the police, the incident had taken place on Tuesday when victim Rajender Singh was on his way from Noida’s Salarpur to Bulandshar. Seven abductors in a car had intercepted Rajinder near Sikandrabad highway.
According to SP Dinesh Yadav, they had received a call from victim’s cousin Vikash on Wednesday morning who informed them about the abduction of his uncle. He also told that culprits had demanded a ransom of Rs six lakh from their family. In order to rescue Rajinder, the police had put callers’ number on surveillance and its location was found to be in Greater Noida. When the kidnappers called up the victim’s family to demand the ransom, cops apprehended them after a brief encounter. During the operation, police rescued the businessman and arrested three culprits identified as Shivam, Raj and Rahul. However, four of the kidnappers managed to flee.
