After announcement of free water and reduction in power tariff to half in Delhi by Aam Admi Party (AAP) government, similar demands are gaining momentum in Noida and other satellite towns of national capital region (NCR).
‘We do hope that your prove to be much better chief minister than Arvind Kejriwal,’ said NP Singh, president of federation of RWAs in Noida (FONRWA)in a letter written to Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.
The body demanded free water and slashing power tariff by 50 per cent on the lines of new government in Delhi. ‘Delhi has decided to provide free water supply on the rationale that it is the primary responsibility of the state government. The same rationale should be applicable in Noida also,’ he added.
