Noida Extension flat owners hold protest

An association, representing flat owners in Greater Noida (west) area, on Sunday held a protest against builders and performed a play, depicting how builder and broker cheat home buyers through ‘false promises’.

Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) representatives gave memorandum to DM and SSP and also sent memorandum to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

‘NEFOWA has demanded restoration of canceled flats, no increase in super area, no change in layout plan, action against false commitment of builders, payment of credit notes issued by brokers, timely possession and formation of committee for quality check of material and technique used in construction,’ said Shweta Bharti, general secretary, NEFOWA.? 

Annu Khan, president of NEFOMA, said, ‘We have a filed petition in Allahbad High Court against the builders who are doing cancellation on various grounds.’
