Noida Authority plans wedding venues on river bed

The residents of Noida have been facing a shortage of wedding venues for a long time. Unlike Delhi or Ghaziabad, there is no specific space for farmhouses in the city.
Keeping in mind the dearth of space for weddings, Noida Authority has decided to develop more than a dozen farms on the river bed of the Hindon river. A team has been formed to identify such locations.
While talking to Millennium Post, authority chairman, Rama Raman said, ‘There was no space in the city allotted for wedding venues due to the dearth of land. Because of this, we have been receiving such complaints regularly. But now we have asked our town planners to design farms on the river bed.’
