No NHRC team visited Dadri after lynching: Rijiju tells LS

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) did not send a team to Dadri after a Muslim man  was lyched over beef-eating rumour. MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday told the Lok Sabha that as per information received from the NHRC, it did not send any team to conduct an on-the-spot investigation after the incident took place in September. 

Rijiju said: “However, the Commission issued notices to the Chief Secretary of the UP government and DM and SP of Gautam Budh Nagar, UP, seeking report from them.”
