No advertising agency hired to do publicity work: Delhi govt

No advertising agency has been hired by the Delhi government to do its publicity work, the government of NCT has claimed before the Central Information Commission. The Delhi government has allocated Rs 526.74 crore for information and publicity which is claimed before the Delhi high court as the outer limit to be spent for dissemination of information and publicity. An RTI applicant Sunil Jha had sought to know from the Delhi government details of the budget fixed by it for information and publicity for 2015-16 along with related records including details of agency hired for doing publicity.
