Nitish gets Mamata backing

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday posted a tweet urging the people of Bihar to vote for Nitish Kumar and re-elect him as the Chief Minister. Ahead of the third phase of polling process on October 28, Mamata’s tweet read, “Request you all in #Bihar to please vote to re-elect @NitishKumar ji as CM for greater need of our country & development in State.”  Election for the 243-member Bihar Assembly began on October 12, and will end on November 5. Counting of votes will be done on November 8.
