Nine year old girl raped by ex-armyman

A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an ex-armyman in his mid-50s in Noida. The culprit was her neighbour and quite close to the family.
The incident happened on Friday night when the victim was alone in her house in Sadarpur village, which comes in the jurisdiction of Sector 39 police station. Her mother works as maid in the nearby houses and is a divorcee.
According to the police, the culprit had cultivated friendship with the family and had thus gained their trusted.
'He raped the girl when her mother was not in the house and threatened her not to reveal it anyone. The child kept mum for two days. But when she complained of pain in her private parts, her mother realised that she had been raped,' said Yogesh Singh, S P City Noida.
'The case has been registered and we will soon get her medical examination done,' added Singh.
The culprit has absconded.
