NIA searching for deadly duo!

A look out notice was issued after PM Manmohan Singh cautioned state forces at the DGP’s conference recently that every effort must be made to root out the menace of Naxalism.

The woman has been identified as Saraswati Mohra who heads a banned organisation called Akhil Bharatiya Nepali Vidyarthi Sangh (ABNVS), while her associate has been identified as Amrit Thapa. Probe revealed Thapa, from Darjeeling, is V-P of Akhil Bharat Nepali Ekta Samaj, which is also banned by the home ministry under the Prevention of Terrorist Act (POTA) 2002. Both establishments are the frontal faces of Nepal Maoists and working in arranging funds, arms and other logistic support for Maoists in India.
