NIA told the ministry that during their investigation they have found leads, which are connected to Kuwait and UAE. Well places sources said, the fund for buying property in West Bengal, explosives and all the travel expenses from Bangladesh to India for the JMB militants were received from these two organisations based abroad.
The home ministry was also told about the three tier membership process of JMB and claimed that those who were killed in the blast and those who were arrested including two Bangladeshi women were part of the ‘second tier’, which they called ‘Gayeri Ehsar (Part Time)’.
Sources also said, in last three years JMB, which is the youth front of Al Mujahideen, had received nearly Rs 50 lakhs from these ‘social welfare’ groups and were planning to set up a ‘female suicide squad’, which was conspired to execute some of the influential leaders of the present Bangladeshi government.
Meanwhile, with fresh inputs on the Burdwan blast indicating pan-India existence of JMB, home minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday ordered immediate neutralisation of the terror modules of the banned group.
The directive came after National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval briefed the Home Minister about the JMB’s network in the country as well as people associated with it.
On 9 October, the Centre handed over the Burdwan blast case to NIA and probe revealed that the conspiracy to make a firm base in West Bengal, Bihar and in Kerala by Bangladeshi terror outfits was hatched in between 2011-2013. During these years series of meetings were conducted by the terror groups at the bordering areas of West Bengal.
So far six persons including two women have been arrested this connection and a Nano car was seized with a fake sticker of Indian Army on it.
