News about candidates selection merely speculations: Congress

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Jai Prakash Agarwal, MP said the news stories appearing about the selection of candidates for the Delhi polls were mere speculation.
He said during the Central Election Committee meeting on Mondya, the decision on 40 assembly seats was not finalised. He said somebody was deliberately trying to spread misinformation by planting stories in the media to the effect that decision on 12 had been withheld, and he condemned such speculative stories.
He said the decision arrived at on the 40 assembly seats would be announced after the signature of Congress president Sonia Gandhi around Diwali.
