Newly-wed woman allegedly commits suicide, family cries dowry death

Her husband, who also is a software engineer, informed police about the incident. However, the family members of the woman have blamed her in-laws for the death saying they were demanding dowry.
Following the complain, an FIR has been registered against the in-laws and police have arrested her husband (Lalit Kumar Poswal), mother-in-law (Seema Poswal) and father-in law (Anil Kumar Poswal). The deceased have been identified as Krishna Poswal (24), who belonged to Palwal area of Haryana.
“Around 9 am Lalit informed the police that his wife has committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling. When police team reached the spot, the deceased was found lying on the ground,” said Anoop Singh, deputy superintendent of police (Noida). The family members of the deceased were also informed about the incident by the in-laws.
Lalit works as an engineer at a renowned firm in Noida Sector 62. His father and mother work as a lab assistant at Ramjas College in Delhi. Lalit married Krishna on February 15, 2014.
