New Delhi World Book Fair begins from Jan 7

The National Book Trust India, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, announces the next edition of its annual New Delhi World Book Fair 2017 to be held from January 7 to 15, at Pragati Maidan, in the national Capital.
The book fair would be having 1500 participants from across India and over 50 foreign exhibitors. More than 2500 stalls will showcase books and reading material in Hindi, English, and all other Indian languages for all age-groups, on a wide range of subjects and genre.
In addition to the books, the New Delhi World Book Fair 2017 will also have various literary and cultural programmes, including seminars, panel discussions, book release functions, meet-the-author programmes, book releases, as well as interactive events and activities for children and youth.
The book fair will have children’s pavilion, foreign pavilion, live FM radio corner, authors’ corners, as well as international events corner. There will be B2B sessions as well, like the New Delhi Rights Table and the CEO Speak.
The Fair will host various celebrities and dignitaries as guests and speakers on various platforms during the nine-day fair.
National Book Trust has been organizing the World Book Fair since 1972. The New Delhi World Book Fair is the biggest book fair in Afro Asian Region.
