Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday promised to make Delhi a comfortable and caring city for the elderly and disabled people, saying a number of steps are being taken in this direction. Addressing a conference on mobility and transport for elderly and disabled, Dikshit said directions have been issued to ensure ‘disabled and elderly friendly features’ in all the upcoming government buildings.
