NDMC shifts building to make space for parking

Chairman of high power committee in North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), Rajesh Bhatia, said a building of the corporation in Old Rajender Nagar near Baba Phula Singh Gurudwara is being relocated to give space for parking. ‘In future, a multilevel parking with a capacity of 1,000 vehicles will be constructed at this site, which will ease traffic in the area,’ said Bhatia. Besides, a consultant has been appointed to prepare design of a multilevel parking at Shastri Market in Karol Bagh. A parking site for 60 vehicles was recently made operational at Sat Nagar of Rajender Nagar ward.
