NDA to campaign jointly in Bihar, Shah meets Ram Vilas Paswan

BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday had a meeting with Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan in the national capital to decided poll strategy in Bihar to counter “Janata Parivar” alliance.
During the meeting, it was decided that all NDA allies will campaign jointly and a programme would be chalked out soon to hold public rallies in each district in Bihar. A preliminary discussion on candidates for various seats was also discussed and the party will released the names soon.
Speaking to the media persons, Paswan said, “We have decided to campaign jointly. BJP, LJP and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) will campaign together and hold public rallies jointly. We held discussions on how to strengthen NDA. We will move jointly and campaign in each commissionerate in Bihar.”
“We will expose the unholy alliance of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav which has cheated the people of Bihar and is trying to push the state into Jungle Raj,” he said, while claiming that they are going to win Bihar poll.
On the context of problems due to seat-sharing arrangement between the alliance partners, he said, there is no fight for the leader and this will be decided by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.”
Party’s national secretary Shrikant Sharma said, “Our fight will be to ensure good governance and development in the state.” Meanwhile, former speaker PA Sangma, who broke away with the NCP in 2012 to contest the presidential elections, met Shah in the national capital. There are speculation that his National People’s Party (NPP) might align with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
