Nautanki Saala

Diwali doesn't seem to be half as interesting as the fireworks on TV. We are tired of news, true story, but strangely that is where the action is. While Congress plays a 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe' with potential PM candidates, BJP strongman Narendra Modi is spewing fire. Indian cricket seems to be on an all time high while Anil Kapoor goes action happy with 24. And then there is Bigg Boss if you haven't had enough drama already. Gauhar Khan's dramatic exit with Kushal Tandon and her subsequent re-entry has had people totally enjoying the emotional excesses. On the other hand Mallika Sherawat is butchering the search-for-the-prince-charming concept. Her emotionally fraught reunions with family had the actor weeping buckets. In the episode aired for her birthday, Sherawat started crying, almost on cue, as her baby pictures were shown. Sherawat's reunion with her father was more bitter than sweet as the actor took sides with the participants when criticised by her father. Ergo, more drama. This is clearly one of the worst reality shows Indian television has seen so far. Dance India Dance is back and Nach Baliye as well. We are going to stick to that and the Romedy Channel. Thank you very much!
