National karting c’ship finale commences today

Indi’s lone national karting meet will see over 40 young drivers from across the country fighting out in three categories, Micro Max (7-12 years), Junior Max (12-14 years) and Senior Max (14 and above).
The overall winner in senior and junior max categories gets a chance to represent India in Rotax Max World karting finals scheduled in New Orleans, USA, in November. The overall champions in same categories will get a fully sponsored drive in JK FB02 class in the 17th JK Tyre Racing Championship 2014.
While established outfits like Mohite’s Racing, Rayo Racing and Meco Racing will try to stamp their authority, rookie teams like Chennai’s Dark Don Racing will look to make a mark.
