With Google aid, cops nab man 'who emailed CBSE paper'

New Delhi: Delhi Police has identified the mystery man who had sent an email to the CBSE chairperson, attaching the leaked paper prior to the examination. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is questioning him and trying to get the source of his information. Cops believe he might prove to be a key link in solving the paper leak mystery.
Earlier, Delhi Police had written to Google to know about the whistleblower who had emailed to the chairperson the entire handwritten Maths question paper a day in advance. "We received the email address details from google and were able to identify the man who sent the question paper to the CBSE chairperson. Our team is questioning him," said Special Commisssioner of Police R P Upadhaya.
A total of 53 students and seven teachers have been questioned so far by the Crime Branch SIT. The SIT has been strengthened by including two more ACPs in the team. The SIT is also looking into six WhatsApp groups which have figured in the investigations into the trail of transmission of papers among students, tutors and some college students.
