Shah pays obeisance to Subhas Chandra Bose

NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid floral tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, marking his immense service towards India in its freedom-fighting movement.
Addressing the citizens, Shah described Netaji as the guiding star over the 90 years of India's history freedom movement -- from 1857 to 1947. Shah emphasised that Netaji’s lifelong commitment to the nation's freedom is cemented in history by his efforts in forming the Azad Hind Fauj and rallying international support for India's independence.
"Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will always be remembered globally for his relentless pursuit of India's freedom," Shah stated.
Shah also emphasised that Netaji continues to be a role model for India's youth, who learn respect for the country and patriotism by trying to emulate him. Shah was confident that Netaji's message would continue to inspire long after his death.
