In a new turn to the ongoing ruckus in Bihar assembly over demanding the dismissal of Congress minister Abdul Jalil Mastan, the ruling party has cornered Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for 'shielding' its legislator for allegedly abusing Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Faraz Fatmi.
The RJD, a constituent of ruling Grand Alliance in Bihar on Friday demanded speaker Vijay Kumar Choudhary to initiate action against BJP legislator Lal Babu Gupta for allegedly abusing Fatmi and his father and former union minister Mohammad Ali Ashraf Fatmi in the assembly on Thursday.
"Strict action should be taken against Lal Babu who has been responsible for using un-parliamentary language," said RJD legislator Bhai Virender. He further stated, " Initially, the BJP should take action against Union Minister Griraj Singh and others for publicly abusing RJD chief Lalu Prasad." However, the opposition BJP has disrupted the Bihar assembly's proceedings for the third consecutive day on Friday.
