Niti to release report on India's health system

New Delhi: The Niti Aayog is coming up with a report on health system for India that would highlight the challenges impacting the sector. The report titled New India: Building Blocks - Potential Pathways to Reforms is a synthesis of all the discussions and efforts initiated at the national-level workshop held last year.

The report of the think tank would be released by NITI Aayog's vice chairman Rajiv Kumar on Monday and it would be released in the presence of representatives from national and international academia.

The report reveals India's health system as a story of multiple fragmentations at the level of payers and risk pools, healthcare services and at digital backbone running it, the Aayog said on Friday.
