Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that waterways transportation would be started around river Narmada in the state. "The waterways transportation will be started in a circumference of 100 km in Narmada river as about 30 per cent of state's population lives on the banks of this river," Chouhan said at 'Jan Samvad' (dialogue with public) programme in Mohipura vilalge of Barwani district yesterday during the ongoing 'Namami Devi Narmade-Seva Yatra'.
However, he didn't disclose details of the waterways.
