TN crisis: Centre says it's AIADMK's internal issue

The Centre on Wednesday adopted a hands- off approach to the political crisis in Tamil Nadu terming it as an "internal issue" of the ruling party in the state.

"It is an internal issue of the ruling party of Tamil Nadu and I am sure in accordance with the constitutional norms, the Governor will decide very soon," Finance Minister Arun Jaitley told reporters. He, however, parried queries on the developments in the southern state.

The minister was asked what steps the Centre was taking to bring stability in the state and the directions issued to Governor Vidyasagar Rao. Agencies
