Case filed against Asaram for submitting fabricated documents

In more trouble for self-styled 'godman' Asaram, a case has been filed against him on the direction of the Supreme Court for producing fabricated documents in support of his interim bail application.
Taking serious not of the "fake" report, a division bench of the Supreme Court comprising Chief Justice of India J S Khehar and Justice N V Ramanna on January 30 slapped a penalty of Rs 1 lakh on him. It also directed the police to file a fresh case against him for misleading the court through fabricated documents to get bail.The Supreme Court on January 30 denied bail to Asaram.
