States urged to notify RERA, full-time regulators in place

The Centre has urged the states to complete the process of notification and appointment of full-time regulators at the earliest for Real Estate Regulation Act (RERA). Speaking at a FICCI seminar on 'Real Estate Regulation Rules, GST & Affordable Housing, Joint Secretary Rajiv Ranjan Mishra said, "So far 14 states and UTs have notified RERA, and another 14 states and UTs were at an advanced stage of notifying the Act."
