MP govt to launch Yuva Shakti Mission today under PM Modi’s GYAN vision
Bhopal: Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering the poor, youth, farmers and women, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will launch the ‘Yuva Shakti Mission’, an initiative to empower youth, to mark Swami Vivekanand’s 163rd birth anniversary. “1.5 crore youth in the state will accelerate development through the ‘Vivekanand Yuva Shakti Mission’. We aim to ensure that under the mission, youth with IT and other professional qualifications get employment within the state based on their skills, qualifications, and proficiency,” CM Yadav said. Aiming to make India a developed country by 2047, PM Modi has outlined a vision focusing on the empowerment of ‘GYAN,’ which stands for Gareeb (the poor), Yuva (youth), Annadata (farmers), and Narishakti (women). Inspired by PM Modi’s vision, CM Yadav announced the launch of four missions—Yuva Shakti, Gareeb Kalyan, Kisan Kalyan, and Nari Shashaktikaran—to empower the youth, farmers, poor, and women in the state on August 15, 2024. CM Yadav expressed hope that under the leadership of PM Modi, the youth of Madhya Pradesh and the advancing nation will move forward in unison. The Yuva Shakti Mission, which will be launched on National Youth Day, January 12, in Bhopal by CM Yadav, is one of four missions, with the other three also set to be launched this year. With around 1.5 crore youth, Madhya Pradesh is one of the youngest states in the country and the world.
The initiative aims at the comprehensive socio-economic development of the state’s youth by integrating youth-oriented activities under a single platform, an official said. He also added, “The youth state is with the youth.” The CM stated that special emphasis is being given to enhancing the role of women in the mission, ensuring that both young men and women are provided with job opportunities. The Regional Industry Conclave would accelerate the development of the state’s 1.5 crore youth, the 7th edition of the conclave is scheduled for January 16, the CM said. He noted that in the six conclaves held so far, investment proposals exceeding Rs 4 lakh crore have been received, creating employment opportunities for three lakh people. At the launch of the mission, the world’s largest 3D rangoli, crafted by Shikha Sharma Joshi, will be showcased, spanning 18,000 sq ft. Created using 4,000 kg of eco-friendly natural colours, it will depict Swami Vivekananda, PM Modi, and CM Yadav, conveying the mission’s motto: ‘Dialogue, Capability, and Prosperity
