Modi calls up Captain to congratulate him

PM Modi on Saturday called up Amarinder Singh to congratulate him on the electoral victory in Punjab. "Spoke to capt_amarinder & congratulated him on the win in Punjab," Modi tweeted. His tweet came as Congress was heading towards forming the government in Punjab.

Ruling Akali Dal-BJP combine received a major drubbing in these Assembly elections. Modi also wished Amarinder on his 75th birthday.
