Meerut 'Gyanotsav' starts at CCS varsity
New Delhi: The Meerut Gyanotsav began on Tuesday at the Chaudhary Charan Singh University on a high note. The event is aimed at coming up with ideas that can improve the higher-education system in the country. Various educationists from across the country are expected to attend the event and contribute to brainstorming sessions scheduled over the next couple of days.
The Education Department of the CCS University along with the Education Culture Upliftment Foundation organised the two-day Gyanotsav at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Auditorium in campus, which was inaugurated by National Secretary Atul Kothari. In his opening address, Kothari said that the aim of this initiative was to spread the ideas of Gandhi and discuss different ways to bring it into practice. Kothari added that the relationship between an educator and their student should be quite like it was since ancient times in India - one of the moral nature and of a culture-centred one.
