'Industries can renovate units with self-certification'

Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board said that the 'Approval Renovation' process should be more liberalized for the industries.

It will bring in transparency and speed in execution of decisions. The historic move was taken at the 41st meeting of the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board .

Chairman of Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board Aman Singh presided over the Board meeting.

The industries should submit 'Self Certification' of approval renovation Online stating that they are

following the guidelines already in force. Bank Guarantee and time-bound programme and policies should be submitted.
