CHANDIGARH: Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that when the Congress government is formed, crime will be completely eliminated from Haryana once again. He said criminals and gangsters will not be allowed to live in Haryana. Hooda was in Jind on Friday to address the conference of party workers with Sonipat Congress candidate Satpal Brahmachari, saying Congress has fielded a strong, honest and hardworking candidate in Brahmachari. “Every vote they get will serve as the foundation for the development of Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency,” he said.

Hooda said the aim of Congress is to eliminate crime, unemployment, inflation, poverty, recruitment mafia, illegal drugs and atrocities on deprived classes from Haryana.

“To fulfill this objective, a manifesto has been issued by the party in the form of a Nyay Patra. In this, participation and justice for every class has been guaranteed. It is the responsibility of every worker to deliver the Congress Nyay Patra to every home,” he said. “Congress has guaranteed that 30 lakh government jobs will be provided when the government is formed at the Center to curb unemployment. Every educated youth will be given an apprenticeship of Rs 100000 annually. 50 percent reservation in jobs for women, financial assistance of Rs 100,000 annually and guarantee of MSP to farmers,” he added. “When the Congress government is formed in Haryana, there will be permanent recruitment on 2 lakh vacant government posts as per merit, without any paper leak. Congress will provide Rs 6000 pension to every elderly person and OPS benefit to employees. The party has also promised to provide 300 units of free electricity and gas cylinders for Rs 500 to curb inflation,” he promised.
