Doors not closed for Anil Sharma: Jai Ram Thakur

Dharamshala: Former minister and son of veteran Congress politician Sukh Ram, who quit the state cabinet following his son Ashray Sharma's decision to contest Lok Sabha elections from Mandi on the congress ticket, may stage a comeback.

In an informal chat with reporters, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today said, "We do not have any quarrels with Anil Sharma. Some unforeseen circumstances developed before the Lok Sabha polls, as his son chose to contest against BJP. Eventually, Anil Sharma had to resign."

Asked if he can come back to the government? The Chief minister said, "Well, it's a call, which the party high command has to take." But, all doors are not closed yet, he added.
