DG RPF unveils new formation signs and CIT course badge
New Delhi: Marking the commemorative event of Republic Day 2019, Director General, Railway Protection Force Arun Kumar, IPS, unveiled the new formation sign and CTI course badge for the force at a ceremony at 6th Battalion, RPSF, Dayabasti, Delhi on Monday.
It may be recalled that the Railway Protection Force participated in the Republic Day Parade at Rajpath this year with a sense of honour and great pride. Soon after the Parade, Arun Kumar received the marching contingent of Railway protection Force of 148 Jawans with 91 member strong brass band led by Jatin B Raj, Assistant Security Commissioner, at the 6th Battalion.
The new formation sign for RPSF is a special mobile and striking component of RPF. It has a maroon base formation sign of RPSF carrying the motto "Tapsa Shaurya Sandhanam" within it, signifying its endeavors to attain supreme valor through constant efforts. DG/RPF gave away new formation sign and CTI badge to members of the Force. CTI Course Badges were given to Lady Constable Santosh and Sub-Inspector Sukhwant and Formation Sign were given to Comandant Raj kumar Yadav and Inspector M Arunachalam.
Addressing the Force on the occasion, Arun Kumar IPS appreciated their commitment and flawless show while performing march-past at Rajpath before highest leadership of the country, foreign dignitaries and supreme commander of the forces.
