College students to soon get biz language training

New Delhi: In a move aimed at skiling youth to meet the needs of industry, the institutions –both public and private –are mulling to rope-in a South Korean-based start-up to impart English and Chinese language training to students in their native accent. A proposal in this regard has been mooted to promote business-oriented language training to students in colleges and universities.
According to officials, the BeNative start-up, which excels in bridging the gap between college /university learning and the modern day industry needs, would help students learn the kind of English that would help them in getting a job of their choice.
Explaining about the initiative, the start-ups' director Shruti Kaul said, "We are in touch with a number of innovative institutes and universities to help them provide their students a platform to enrich their business and technical English and Chinese. It would help them in expressing themselves more effectively in the global markets."
"The BeNative start-up has partnered with some of well known universities to understand today's youth and find a proper balance between what the product currently offers and what needs to be added further to cater to local market," Kaul said.
"As India is ready to take a more meaningful position in the global markets and to expedite this process their communication skills need to be polished to enable them to express themselves freely and forcefully, the start-up would help in bridging the communication constraints," Kaul said.
