Chennai ex-mayor son missing after accident in HP

SHIMLA: Massive rescue and search operation, is on in Sutlej River after Vetri Duraisamy, 45, son of Chennai’s former mayor S Duraisamy went missing following a road accident in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district, killing the driver and leaving other passenger – Gopinath, 32, a native of Palanyam, Vellakovil Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu injured.

Beside NDRF and ITBP, the district administration has also involved special navy divers in the search operation in Sutlej river, which flows through Kinnaur. The accident took place on February 4 while Vetri Duraisamy and Gopi were travelling in Innova car no HP 01,AA-1111 reportedly crashed near Kashang Nallah in

Kinnaur.
