Centre working on guidelines for funding of parties: Gangwar

The Centre is working on guidelines for the funding of political parties, Minister of State for Finance Santosh Gangwar said here today.
"We are working to make guidelines for the funding of political parties. Amount above Rs 2,000 will be on record," Gangwar told reporters here.

Admitting that some people have faced difficulty following the demonetisation, Gangwar said their grievances have been solved in the ministry.
"Nearly 800 complaints of mismanagement and corruption by bank-staff were reported through PM-Portal, and 100 per cent action was taken against the culprits," Gangwar said.

Exuding confidence that BJP would be forming the next government in Uttar Pradesh, the Union minister said that people of the state want to get rid of the "corrupt misrule of Akhilesh Yadav government".

"BJP is going to form new government with 2/3 majority with 300 seats. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is under tremendous pressure, the depression is visible from his face" he said. "Akhilesh is campaigning for tainted minister Gayatri Prajapati and also does not want to share the stage with him," Gangwar said, adding the rape accused minister is not arrested even after the lodging of an FIR.

Appreciating working of the Centre, he said while PM Modi has abolished interview for group C posts to ensure genuine selection of candidates, in SP government, the antics of UPPSC chairman Anil Yadav is known to all.
