CEC confirmed 10 lakh voters were deleted from electoral roll: AAP

NEW DELHI: A delegation led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, AAP Delhi Convenor Gopal Rai and leader Raghav Chadha met with the Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat and two election commissioners on Friday over the fraudulent deletion of Delhi voters from the electoral roll.

"CEC has confirmed that one million (that is 10 lakh) voters have been deleted from the electoral roll. It was also highlighted that around one lakh votes have been deleted from South Delhi parliamentary constituency alone," noted AAP in a statement.

"We have demanded a thorough and detailed investigation into the matter. CEC has confirmed that it will upload the names of all voters deletions till date since the previous elections (from records available) on its website at the earliest. This is a very dangerous situation and is an attempt to murder democracy," the statement noted.
