CAB: Pappu Yadav attacks Nitish, tells him to join BJP

New Delhi: As some of the non-BJP ruled states deciding not to implement the controversial Citizen (Amendment) Bill in their respective states, former parliamentarian Pappu Yadav has attacked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over supporting the bill in both the Houses of the Parliament during the discussions.

While talking to Millennium Post, former lawmaker demanded immediate resignation of Kumar from chief ministership saying that Kumar has no moral right to rule the state after supporting controversial CAB, which is aimed at dividing the community on the basis of religion.

"Now, Kumar should immediately take the membership of BJP as he has been exposed. Also, he has lost his political ground and his party – JD (U) – is no more a secular one," Yadav said, adding that Kumar would be remembered in the history just as CM of Bihar for a certain period, but not as a social reformer or working for the welfare of deprived sections of the society.

The former MP and convener of Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) Pappu Yadav, who sold onions at Rs 35/kg in Patna, attacked BJP government at the Centre for bringing down economy and loss of jobs in the country.

"It's total chaos across the country. The government has diverted people's attention from the issues of their prime concern to the issues of temple, Kashmir, citizenship, etc. Why government is not taking any step to bring down the prices of onions and other essential items. People are dying due to hunger and government is busy in dividing the country," he said, adding that he would launch a massive protest against Bihar CM and BJP government.
