BSF jawan shoots dead 3 colleagues, then kills self

Kailashahar: A soldier of an Indian paramilitary force allegedly shot dead three colleagues with his service weapon before committing suicide in the north-east Indian state of Tripura early on Sunday, the police said. The Border Security Force (BSF) constable, Sishu Pal, came to deposit his service rifle to head constable Bijoy Kumar at around 1 am IST after his duty got over and suddenly opened fire at Kumar, killing him on the spot, said the officer-in-charge of Irani police station, Swapan Debbarma.
"After killing Kumar, Pal went berserk and fired indiscriminately to fatally injure two more constables – Rinku Kumar and Rakesh Kumar Jadav. Rinku died at the Unakoti district hospital in Kailashahar and Jadav was shifted to a hospital at Agartala," Debbarma told reporters. Jadav died at the hospital in the state capital, superintendent of police (police control) Harkumar Debbarma said.
