All ally partners, CMs of C'garh, Raj, MP to attend Congress' Bihar rally
New Delhi: Ahead of the Lok Sabha election, which is due in May, the Congress is all set to revive its cadre base in Bihar through its 'Jan Akanksha Rally'. Its Congress chief Rahul Gandhi's first political rally in Bihar after the Grand Alliance was finalised.
At the high decibel political gathering, apart from senior party leader Ahmad Patel and all the key leaders of alliance partners, including Tejashwi Yadav, the chief ministers of all three states, which have been recently conquered by the Congress, would also make it at the rally.
According to party insiders, the chief ministers of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan would spell out their landmark decisions taken in the interest of farmers and youth at the rally.
"The party is aiming to instill a sense of confidence among the people of the Bihar that if the Mahagadbandhan would come into power their all worries would be sorted out. The decisions taken by the Congress government to waive off farm loan soon after all the three chief ministers took over the charge is historic in itself. The party is committed to replicate the same in all the states, wherever it would come into power," the party official said.
As per the party official, the Congress president would start his speech at around 1 pm and he would mainly focus on the issues of farmers' welfare, unemployment among youth, poor law and order in Bihar, social security of unprivileged class, the issue of 13-point roster reservation system, corruption, etc.
Commenting on the rally, Bihar in-charge of the party Shakti Singh Gohil said, "This is going to be a unique rally that would be attended by members of all Mahagathbandhan parties. We have extended the invitation to all of them and they all have agreed to participate in the rally."
Taking on the Modi government on several issues, Gohil said that unlike Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress chief believed in work and not just talking big.
